The DormaCryo project

GeneEver has been selected by the Svalbard Global Seed Vault to deliver our solution for co-storage of data together with all the seeds in the Seed Vault.

The aim of the project is to increase the production potential of berries in a new and challenging climate by using high-quality virus-tested mother plants.

In this project we developed tools to produce the CryoBox in full scale. Further, the project conducted the necessary large scale testing with a real-life cryopresevation client.

The SeedBox indetified processed and methods needed to develop a full-scale solution for joint preservation of seeds and their related data.

Financed by Innovasjon Norge. This R&D developed the CryoBox for co-storage of biological material and the related data.

This R&D project developed a conceptual solution for co-storage for biological material and the related data in liquid nitrogen at -196 C. Financed by RFF Oslofjordfondet
Precious genetic resources stand at risk of being lost or fragmented, while their accompanying data remains scattered and often inaccessible
